Important Note: If you own a Grizzly G0815 planer, be aware that Grizzly issued a safety recall on this model regarding the machine's chip breaker. If you haven't already done so, check the CPSC Recall Notice to see if your unit is eligible for their free repair kit. [1] (https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2026/G...-Planers-Due-to-Impact-and-Laceration-Hazards), [2] (https://recalls-rappels.canada.ca/e...uty-planer-recalled-due-impact-and-laceration)
I got the recall kit and I'll be installing that at the same time. Grizzly sent it to me.

The only other option I found for rollers is if you can find a reputable dealer willing to recondition. Might be faster.
I was hoping that there might have been a urethane option but there isn't. I dont know of anyone that can recondition them. So I wait............

I might have found a place. Oy problem is I have to take it out and send it in. But I need to call them first to get an estimate.

My old Bridgewood has a smooth steel out feed roll, about all it does is hold the board down, not a lot of traction. The planer feeds fine as long as I keep the bed rollers adjusted.

What is the name? I have heard a couple names but couldn't confirm if they still did recondition without calling them..since it wasn't my planer and I couldn't answer even the simple questions on it. I left it alone.

Western roller company was one of them. They also can do urethane. But to get a quote I have to pull the roller out first to get some measurements.
