Hope everyone had a great 4th. After it quit raining and we got back from a visit to the sister in law, we settled down to a normal weekend. Worked on a slide out that had the 12 volt fried somehow so it needed to be manually retracted. Then spread some gravel on a new parking area and took my min skid steer down the driveway. My wife notices holes and bumps a bit more since the open heart surgery... Got a neighbor who likes to burn his money every 4th so, I got a free show without going to town.
Stayed up late. Didn't get to bed til almost 9 o'clock...

We were invited to the next door neighbor's for burgers and while sitting on his deck, around 8:30pm I noticed smoke off to the northeast of us. Turned into a pretty good fire. Looked to be about 5 miles away and we could see open flames. Heard at least three different sets of fire response vehicles headed that way. This morning the area is covered in a layer of smoke but it appears to be out. So someone had a 4th they likely won't forget.
