I'm not sure how often I will post here, but I help out a local pool cue maker, and will occasionally source wood for him, as well as tackle online sales and questions.

Anyway, hoping to learn, share, barter, etc. Thanks for having me!

The Loose Cannon 1.webp 1991-GoldEagle-1024x612.webp ATM 2.webp CashMoney1.webp I don't build anything, just help sell and source. Hoping to learn enough to build someday. He's taught me alot, but hasn't given me an opportunity at the lathe or mill yet.

Heres some info and pic of my personal playing cue.

I actually designed this cue set, and Keith built it. My favorite colors are purple and green, and I LOVE the way purple heart looks and plays!!!! Everything in this cue was done special, right down to the opposite handed threads. AMAZING cues and craftsmanship!

I like the purple heart cue! I always thought hard maple was best for shafts and never gave much consideration to what exotics would fit the bill. Really nice work!

Hey thanks for the pics, very cool stuff indeed. Did you take the pics?

I like purple-heart for breaking. It's very heavy by comparison, so it has A TON of deflection. Breaks like a hammer though! BTW, all the white on this cue set is actually elk antler. I titled the playing cue "The Joker."

I took some of the pics, some of the others are from the site. All of the ones I took were with my Motorola RAZR. All the ones of the purple-heart cue are taken with my RAZR, and a little patience.

(Just to be clear, I don't build cues. My great friend Keith Hanssen does. I'm simply a helper of sorts.)

Thanks for all the kind words guys!!!
