I am sort of a new Bowl Turner, it's been over 1 1/2 years and 150 bowls later. :yipee: So I consider myself new. I am on 3 other forums so might have seen my name. I mostly turn local wood because I am cheep and I do not want to mess up really god wood. I am addicted to turning and will continue for a long time.
My problem right now is I have acquired too much wood and need to thin down a little so you will be seeing posts in the future. Some one asked me where Temperance is and my answer is if you throw a base ball from the North edge of Toledo Ohio you would hit Temperance, Mi

Glad to be here and talk more with you later.

Hi Dan. 150 bowls and you still feel new at it eh? If I turn that many I'll retire, because at the rate I turn that'll take 20 more years. :sarcastic:

My mother and brothers are Michigan fans and my brother-in-laws are ohio fans. I do not care so I am banned from the house when there is a game.

I started out turning small bowls, 4 inch X 3 and my largest is 16 inch X 4. Still learning tool control. Also trying different types of wood. I love apple.

Spent my stay at home vacation in the shop and ruff turned 20 bowls.

I roughed out a natural edge bowl and bagged it up to dry. Looks good so far! Thanks for the goodies!
