Stumbled upon this forum and got attracted by all the information and helpful forumers.

Was recently introduced to stabilising wood but has always interested in woodworking.

Hoping to learn some tricks of the trade from fellow veterans here.

Thanks guys..

Seen some amazing stabilized wood from texas..u guys have the greatest burls!!

It's kinda rare here...no one that I know of does wood stabilizing..even burls are hard to find..not to mention the acrylic resins...

Hope to get some pointers when I finally able to get the materials together..

Yea..you guys have a nice community to share informations..whereas here..There isn't any...

It's really hard to source for materials here...and shipping from the states cost a bomb..

We do have abundance of wood choices as well...just that burls are rare

And the source for these woods are like trade secrets here...not easy to be found

Copy that . Is there a preferred/best method for shipping to Malaysia ? ie.....package size and/or weight ?

The routes that I know of are calculated by weight..For every 500 grams...

The first 500g is the costliest..The subsequent is acceptable...Therefore the best practice is to have them sent in bulk..

In general..to send something of low value but high weight is not advisable..ie acrylic resin...The courier cost more than the resin...hahaha
