Looking for highly figured curly or quilted maple mosty but if you’ve got something else let’s see it I would need at lest 1 5/8 and preferably 18-24” width isn’t important but 7-12” would be ideal

Have to dig. As long as we stay as cold as we have been I will not be digging through piles.

@Mike1950 @pvwoodcrafts @TTP GC @Eric Rorabaugh and many more...
Wet, dry, or .... what is your preference?
Dryness isn’t extremely important I can dry it. Wax however I really don’t want to deal with removing. If there’s a small amount on the end grain that’s one thing but fully coated unless it’s oversized enough I can just shave it off with a saw. It’s going to be cut up and stabilized so wax will cause problems

I have some 12/4 curly maple, 10/4 maple burl in those lengths and that width. Let me know. I can send pics.

Yeah I’d be interested in both possibly. The piece is going to be made into handles for an axe and hatchet for a guy to use in the axe throwing world championship so ether one has to be a real show stopper. I have a lot of maple burl but the only piece I have that’s large enough developed a bit of a warp. Trying to bring it back slowly. I’m always interested in larger pieces for cue blanks and I’ve been look for a good source of curly who’s actually reliable. the last two guys weren’t.

Very nice!! Price? Ether by the bdft or individual cue blanks I’d probably do 20 at a time. I just bought a bunch of quilted that I’ll probably be using for the handle if I can’t straighten this piece of burl. Getting it a little at a time but with my luck I’ll probably end up cracking it
