Historical Avatars

I had to join if for no other reason then I just like History.....I have a piece of wood beam from under my avatars home. Which is located in Texas somewhere in the hill country. Guesses are welcome.

If you ever decide to sell any part of that beam, I would kill for some. I'm a huge Texas history fan; that would be incredible to have. TA

I would think Chief Iron Horse

And why would you think that? Google Image Search and Wikipedia? Oh my have I laid a trap for you wiki & google image addicts this time. Henry stop racking your brain and admit defeat . . . .

:mocking:

Here's a clue, if it is one. I didn't pick this as a random image. I read about this great man in a book in my youth, and I did some research on him for a college paper back when research was still real. I ended up writing my essay on Booker T Washngtion but only because the firsthand resource material for BTW was plentiful, compared to this little known North American Indian.

Its either Iron Tail or Mel Brooks.

LMAO we know it isn't Mel. I can't put you in doubt of yourself no matter what. You're probably the only one beside me that would have stuck to his guns after that. I salute you.

:hi2:

I found em on pintrest....but i used google.:blush-33:

We will have it forever im sure. That was the deal with the park. Dad made some pens if I remember correctly out of some of the wood. He had a large piece left over and has just kept it since he retired. We also have a large piece of Pecan from the Independence Tree.
