The current, active pen swap - gave my "want" gene a jump start. Seems like someone included a blank of Ringed Gidgee. And yes (sheepishly) Little Mikey did abscond with the blank! Sorry Barb. Now, being once a Texan and knowing everything, but now being four decades in Tennessee has caused that infinite wisdom to seriously decline to the level that Little Mikey had no idea what Ringed Gidgee was, is, or whether he needed it or not! It intrigued the H. E. double hockey sticks outta him. Just a wee bit of eyeballing the murky depths of the internet, resulted in an epiphany - Little Mikey needed some Ringed Gidgee. In lieu of wasting more electrons on a web search, a lamp lit in his head - why not ask those that have more wood than Little Mikey. Anybody got any of that there Ringed Gidgee that they don't want - in say knife scale or block sizes?

That was a blank I included. Its hard to get. I used to have a supplier but they don't list much anymore. I have a line out on some beefwood and Ringed Gidgee but its extremely expensive to ship here from Australia because of the weight.

This is 5.875 x 1.5 x 1" - say $40 shipped. Only rough sanded to 60 or 80 grit, should pop more when finished. I've had it maybe 2y, crack free.

Sorry guys and gals, it grows a very long way from me, only 1 in 10,000 trees gets that figure. I have lots of nice figured blanks, but postage is out of control from here. Sadly I won't be over to the US this year, Qantas is not flying to the US until 31st October, so I would miss the Vegas race, so maybe next year.
Rgds,
Crocy.

They are selling the blocks pretty fast. A couple I wanted had sold the day before. They answered a question for me on Monday. I bought 4 blocks, so we shall see.
