well did some fudging on my mortise mach and think I can get 5 inches under the bit so I'm giving up on the horizontal router

yeah but unavailable till March. Thought it would be nice for floating tenons
There are many, many plans out there to make those, but then that assumes you have the time to do so.....

Yeah ,I looked into that but figure time and materials I probably would be further ahead with a factory one, that is till you figure I coulda built one a whole lot better
