Curious to see what happens. Hopefully nothing damaging. I think we are going to be on the fringes but they keep saying it’s coming. Thought it was supposed to be here already. Been dry all day. Looked threatening, but no action yet.

We just had 3 days of mist and rain. They forecasted half inch. We had 1.25 inches. Been in the 50's each day, so a touch chilly. Today was overcast, high of 62, mowed lots of wet grass. Was thinking about long sleeves or even a jacket a few times.
 
When I got up this morning, it was cloudy, then a half hour later, the sun was out. Another half hour, we had a good rain for about 10 minutes. It stayed cloudy for the next 2-3 hours. I check the rainfall, and it was about 1/8" for the morning. We had some clear patches, but mostly cloudy, then it rained again. Right now at 5pm, we have a beautiful blue sunny sky, but clouds all around it. Tonight at 7pm we are supposed to get about another 1/4" of rain, but I'm not gonna hold my breath for that. I think we might be done, though tomorrow we have a 45% chance of more rain. ................. Nubs

The Hill Country of Texas, including lots of members, is forecasted to have 3 weather systems, (Polo, cool front & Gulf moisture) collide over the region bringing a major chance of damaging rain and flooding

Got up this morning at 6:30, and looked the windows. Clouds on all horizons, but absolutely blue sky above. Storm clouds are still on the West horizon 50-60 miles away, but the others have dissipated into non threatening clouds.
Woo Hoo, I might be able to use my saw today. ........... Nubs
 
It's 9:19 AM, and went out to check my rain gauge. It had a total of 3/8" from yesterday morning until this morning. We were warned to be very aware of flooded roads and such. I'm wondering when that's gonna happen. The weather program I use shows no rain for at least a week. ............... Nubs
 
If we don't have any rain today - highly unlikely - we will have gone the entire month of September without rain. And only one since June! Kinda dry for us!
 
We've had a little under an inch so far, and expecting up to 4" before the system passes. We are wet, and have been for a while. Corn harvest has started, but not much done. If we get even 2", that will shut down harvest for at least a week, too muddy to get through fields.

Edit, just after posting this the tv weather guy said that this is near the top wettest September on record for us. Could set a record depending on how much we get before midnight.
