How's your weather treating you?

Wel, I got a single wide but in a moment it's gonna "feel" like a double wide...
I know, that's not as funny with temperatures like those...
My thought is, when it's hot, it's just dang hot.
What is hot, Frank?

Today it's 100 right now, but the report says it feels like 101 with 33% humidity.
Yesterday we got about a 10-15 minute down pour, and then off and on til who knows when. Total rain, about a 1/4". Today it's supposed to rain about 8pm , 25% chance and at 9pm, 20%. Then rain at midnight and 1am with no more rain til 2:30 pm Monday. Love these rains during the day as they feel like early spring for a couple hours or more. As low as 75 degrees sometimes. ............. Nubs

Each person's hot level is different... I have acquaintances who wear a jacket at 80. I have other acquaintances who wear short sleeves at 50...

It was supposed to rain tonight between 8 & 9 pm. It started at 5pm and just got done a few minutes ago. I don't know what's gonna happen about 8pm. .......... Nubs

I think the real Monsoon season just hit Tucson. The national weather service changed the season to start June 1st or July 1st. Can't remember, but I do know how it used to start. Dew point at 54 degrees for 3 consecutive days with rain each day. I just woke up to water dripping off my upper deck. Don't know what time it rained but it wasn't between 8 & 9pm like it was forecast yesterday. Weather report shows rain all this week and til Wednesday of next week, all around 3pm with temps not over 95 and as low as 82. That's the way it used to be back before they made the change. At least the wind is supposed to be pretty mild, where I've seen some in the past rivaling hurricanes, but they only lasted 5-10 minutes. ................ Nubs

In Australia they call it 'the wet" and the time right before it they call 'the build up'. During the build up, people start getting cranky and acting weird, some go tropo as they say. Then the rains come and everything is cool again.

We just had 3 straight days of an evening cloud burst. Short but one yesterday left erosion. We were down in town but evidence was there. We also have a wetter forecast. Maybe things will get better.

On a sad note, lost a firefighter pilot yesterday down in the southwest part of the state. Fourth casualty this fire season for Colorado.

Just miserable hot for this northern Yankee. 99 tomorrow, I wont even go outside in that kind of heat anymore. Too old and too fat!

We are lucky so far, highs all week in mid 90's, but at least so far humidities are low. Watering all parts of the garden and trying to get everything mowed with the hope that the high temps turn the grass brown!
