How's your weather treating you?

Last night I went upstairs for bed at a little after 9pm, looked outside and saw lightning. There was hardly any pause between each flash. I have lived here since 1973, and have never seen a light show like that. I did a 5 minute video of it, but haven't figured out how to get in this thread. Help, anyone? Would be appreciated. ............ Nubs
You have to upload it to YouTube and then post the link here. We do not have the capabilities to directly post videos at this time. Maybe someday.

You can get some real rippers down that way. I remember one when I was at the El Paso Refinery, incredible spectacle of nature's power.

Maybe send the file to one of us with a YouTube account and we can get it uploaded for you. I will volunteer but am heading out of town for grandsons birthday. It would be next week. Not hard to do, just takes time.

Well, I guess that's what Ima gonna do................. Nubs
Ok, I hope this is done. I'm sorry that the first 19 seconds are vertical. I started with my phone in the normal oreintation, but realized I should rotate it. Only 19 seconds of distraction, but 4 minutes of lightning.

Hope you like it. ............ Nubs

I did. Heck of a storm! Did you finish building your ark?
Heck, Chuck, when it rains here, the water rushes out so fast a boat would still be on dry land after the rain quit. We don't even have stores selling galoshes as the store owners don't ever get request for them unless you do concrete work. ........... Nubs

last night we had another light show almost on my property. It was more intense than the one posted and this one lasted over 2 hours plus we had a little bit of rain. There were no lightning strikes, but in that 2 hours, I think I heard thunder about 10 times. I did an 8 minute video, need to remove 1:13 minutes, but can not find any editing on either computer or phone camera. I can change colors, crop and angle the video, but can't cut anything out of it. ............... Nubs

I've got this one uploaded to youtube, but will not make it public until I take out the first minute plus because I pointed the camera back into the house instead of outside. When I can figure out how to cut some of the stuff out of the video, I'll make it public. I did notice that Kitt Peak which is visible in the first video is not visible in this one, telling me the first storm was a lot further away than I thought. I think I said it was about 20 miles away, but it was further west of Kitt Peak making it more like 40-50 miles. ............... Nubs
