I made a sawshark!!

So, my grandson has been wanting a stuffed sawshark for quite sometime now. I looked everywhere for one. Nothing. So I went to wally world and picked up some material and ordered eyes from amazon. Made a pattern out of some paper and cut it all up and sewed it together yesterday, and Michele finished it up by sewing the open end (butt) where I stuffed it.

Reminds me of a friend of my father, he had the rostrum from a sawfish (very similar looking, but in the ray family rather than shark family). When I was in 2nd or 3rd grade he let me take it to school for a show & tell so I remember it very clearly (unlike what I did twenty minutes ago :sarcastic:)

(BTW, I think that final photo the one from beneath is a sawfish rather than sawshark -- I can see gills on its underside, one of the differentiators between the two species.)
 
That's cool! Awesome job.

My daughter would go nuts for that(and then lose interest rapidly before going nuts over something else before losing interest in that and just playing with the wrapper or something)

That is correct! I didn't even see that on my phone.
