Welcome from Colorado.

Another fan of bagpipe music. Not a player but love to listen.

I just have to wonder about your title - whether that's a typo or a pun.

It's a pun.
It rains a lot here.

Yesterday afternoon I spent up in Mount Vernon, WA at the Littlefield Celtic Center playing Scottish Smallpipes at the monthly music session. Great fun. We had 16 musicians including smallpipes, guitar, fiddle, octave mandolin, Irish harp, autoharp, and three Gaelic singers.
Good audience too, about 40.

Thought it might be. I've only visited that area a time or two but it was easy to tell you folks get much more liquid falling from the sky than we do here.

They are African blackwood, basswood, and silver.
My friend E. J. Jones of Asheville, NC made them.
They are gorgeous and play even better.
