Completed a small 3” bowl from a blank I picked up from Woodcraft some time ago. Finished with 8 coats of gloss wipe-on poly, followed with three coats of Renaissance Wax. Easy to turn & sand, and took finish well. Chuck

Nice bowl, I like the shine, the wood is nice too. I used to use 100% polyurethane and I would dip the bowl in the polly and then put it back on the lathe with the lathe spinning at a very slow speed so that the polly would dry with no runs. It made a great high gloss finish. Aloha.
