Junk Yard Has Nice Stuff

My state has around four milion people...my hometown around 400K.

Near my home (10 km distance) a very big iron ore port (Port of Tubarão) and the neighbour company is a very big steel industry as well (Arcelor Mittal).

So all junk yard around sell industrial stuff and it can be a source of some woodworking tools...or jigs or similar.

The price is so nice and you always save .

Some examples:
A ball valve (we call here Worcester ) just with corrosion outside

This is stainless steel just missed one bolt and no threaded

Just take apart

Bronze inside

If you don't want to save the valve you can use the pieces.Here you can add a pipe and transform your pipe clamp to work over bench

Or at apron...being an extra vise or similar

Perfec teflon gasket...just clean around

Micro switch wheels

Can be a saw guide

The slot has many uses

Micro switches are used to sincronism or stop one equipament as other works in sequence and lot others use...
The wheels are good quality and some has bearings.
