I surfaced the one side smooth and gave it a quick sanding up to 400 grit. I wetted it with mineral spirits to show the grain.
We had discussed you wanting a French rolling pin blank, and 2 regular handle blocks. And one more along the length of 12” long. If you are willing to glue 2 pieces for the French rolling pin blank, you can get that and the 2 standard and one long handle blank from the same board. I can cut it up for you, and even glue the blank up for you, or send it whole, whatever you prefer if you are interested in this piece.
If you wanted that one handle block longer I have another 6x2x1.25ish handle block I can send you also so you could still get 3.
