We started at 9, and it wasn't freezing, but it was foggy and damp. By noon the fog had burned off and the temperature was in the 50s (Fahrenheit), and foot traffic had picked up a bit. Several vendors said that there were lots of browsers but not many buyers, and I got the same vibe at a show two weeks ago. Hard to say whether it's unease over the economy, some other cause, or just random luck.
Well, usually this time of year, people are a touch more prone to buy (holidays) so I'd say economy. Crafts are hurting here, but prices on them are also high. However trade work, plumbing, electrical and carpentry are in demand. Happy Holidays.
