New to wood barter. I am a lifelong woodworker, work always was in the way. Retired now so much more active. Live in a community with a state of the art shop so the sky is the limit. Or rather, only the imagination is the limit.

South West Association of Woodturners. It's annual, held at the Waco convention Center from 8-22 to 8-24 this year. Demos by pros, and a lot of vendors selling their stuff. You are close, so go if you can. ............. Nubs

Be warned, you're falling in with the wood world's equivalent of crack dealers. Once they get you hooked, you're in for a life of wood hoarding. I'd recommend you consider in advance how you're going to disguise your purchases unless you want your better half to discover a new justification for whatever it is she most loves to shop for. Just a bit of advice from one who already slid down the slippery slope and has the scars to prove it.
