Looking for a couple pieces of live edge cocobolo or bocote (must have some heartwood in them) that I can cast into a pot call blank. 4x4x1.

So must be at least 1” thick x 4” long x 2” wide.

Or bigger. Would like to be able to make 3-4 blanks.

Thanks!

Stan, I don't want to step on any toes but I have two slabs of cocobolo I brought back from mexico 20 years ago. One is roughly 1 x 4 x 10.5 and the other is 1.25 x 5 x 11.5. I am not sure they are what you are looking for, they have a natural edge but looks like someone hacked off all the bark and sapwood.

Thank you Isaac. I think I could make either one of those work. Does the live edge side have wax on it?

How much do you want for one or both?

The live edge stuff doesn't have wax it looks like straight natural edge. I don't really know what cocobolo is worth these days seems like prices are all over the place.

Stan, I can wait, Got #1 & 7 set aside for you. I can ship these in a USPS F/R/P Medium side loading box to save you some $$ if you want, otherwise it's $20 for a Large Game Box. The Medium box has a 13.5" inside length, if that works just tell me where to cut both boards.

Both board cut in half would work for me. Sure would like to take up some more space in the box. I’ll see how much $ the wife will give me for allowance this week. Haha

@The100road great, feel free to dye any of them if you think they will look better, I know the buckeye might be a good candidate. I am looking forward to seeing what you make.
Thanks
