Got a call today saying my night missions have been cancelled for the month and my crew has been moved to days starting tomorrow. Yea a shop day!

I wrapped up my Chocolate Bowl, it's green so into a box with sawdust to dry for a month or so.

I also got a larger bowl done, it's also green and drying. It was a PITA. It took me 4 days, wetting and wrapping in ceranwrap kept it fresh. Today it let loose off the block I glued onto the bottom. Had to re-glue then round it again, when I was about 1/2 inch thick. The bottom will need more work still.

With the last one not done but showing promise. It checked because I left it in the shop to long dealing with my back. I filled the crack with Blue Bonnets and CA, I ran out of CA. I'll finish it tomorrow.

Ian --nice work. I am particularly interested in see ing the blue bonnet inlay finished. Is that something your done before? Does it hold it color?

Cool job! I'd be interested in seeing how you do the Blue Bonnet infill. Tony

I'll take some better pics of the blue bonnets. I have never done this before. I dried the flowers in my now designated shop dehydrator. They should hold their color just as well as any dried flowers. Not in the sun though. If it does not look good I'm going to dremeled it out and try again.

Ian, hope for you it works as plan. I would think that it will be a heck of a conversation piece to day the inlay is made out of flowers!
