I made this simple mail holder a couple months ago from some of ocooch's rainbow poplar, and these pieces are pretty tame compared to some of the others i got from them. This is finished with a linseed based hardwax oil too BTW, so it's a bit ambered.
Sorry for the delay. Wife had a heart attack a few weeks back and is in the hospital , about to go home today or tomorrow depending when the dr signs off. I think, since they haven't started paperwork yet, probably tomorrow.I'm beginning to wonder if there is any 8/4 mineral poplar left out there. Still looking for some if anybody has a source that is willing to ship. Thanks!!!
