Nothing usable for bows in there unfortunately. Wouldn’t be worth all the effort. I’m surprised there isn’t a market for Osage boards. I’ve seen some furniture made out of it that was quite pricey. It seems people are just discovering that it is a hell of a pretty and durable wood. No market for slabs?

If nobody here has the Osage, there is a seller in Murray KY selling osage lumber. When you click on it they are actually selling staves harvested in 2008. They are on fakebook marketplace.Hey y’all, I’m having a hell of a time finding split yew bow staves or billets to build an English longbow with. Ideally I’d like to buy a billet or stave ~80”x3”x3”. I’m also interested in premium Osage staves of the some dimensions. Please let me know if you have either and are willing to sell or trade (I have a shop full of exotic woods for guitar building pathologically collected over 25 years). Thanks
