Lost my left thumb print today

I was adjusting the depth of my horizontal borer this morning. Stupidity set in and when I stepped on the pedal, I didn’t move my thumb far enough out of the way. Here’s a picture

I does make a difference on how the quality turns <---- out. The left thumb is actually a hindrance to making large wide points. It's not really needed in this stage of pressure flaking. ................... Nubs

You're right about the scars and such. At least the hand pictured in post 24 has it's thumb and fore finger, unlike the other hand. .......... Nubs and Stubs

Hey Jerry ( @Nubsnstubs ) - I felt sorry for you so yesterday I stuck my right hand ring finger on the engine housing of my gas powered leaf blower after running it for about 25 minutes. Now I don't have a fingerprint on that finger. Man, that hurt.

Ha, no, it blistered up a little but mostly just fried off my print on that finger. Doesn't even hurt today, maybe a little sensitive in hot water.
