Yes i'd be interested, what do you have available

I’ve got an old weathered log with plenty of rot and cracks that I’ve had to make little things like knife scales and shot glasses. You can have the cut piece or a custom length off the log.

I need to make a segmented ring for a 10" bowl i made from epoxy and madrone cutoffs.
my needs are 1 inch tall. x 1 wide pieces in face grain. if your log or a cut board accommodate that. id be interested.

I’m assuming you need much more than 10 pieces of 1” squares as I envision your project. I’m happy to cut a chunk or two that would provide enough material and allowing for possible rejects. I’ll trim off the rot to minimize the shipping bulk. You can just pay the shipping cost.

None of the above.
My hobby is exploring native woods here in Texas, usually from mine or friends’ ranches and see what I can do with it. So I do have power tools but no lathe or bandsaw so that plus using fallen trees limits my production to small items. My current favorites are guayacan, Agarita, Escarpment Cherry. But Live oak and mesquite are too common to interest me.
DM me your address and I’ll get some on its way.
