Making blanks

Priority was to cut the rock maple slab pieces with straight grain into rolling pin blanks. Remainder are platters and a few years supply of production waste blocks.

Rough blanks minimum 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 x 2 1/4”. Prefer 6 x 6 x 2 1/2”, gives me some wiggle room for grain alignment etc.
