Maple Burl Bowl Blank @ 6 3/4” x 3 3/4” at narrowest measurements. Air dried for 2 years, sealed with AnchorSeal and last moisture reading was below 12%. This blank has it all! Spalting, Ambrosia streaks, Curl and Burl. Minor bark inclusions and a couple small end grain checks that should turn away or can easily be CA’d
$50 + shipping to CONUS, PayPal f/f cuz I’m not a wood dealer nor a business owner, just a hobbyist burl/wood collector and turner.

In a metric Board every cm gap is broken into ten mm gaps. Here the inch gap is broken into 4 gaps. For quarter and half measurements.

What confuses me is that he says it's 6 3/4" x 3 3/4", but if that's an imperial grid then it's way bigger than the dimensions stated. That's why i asked if it was a metric board. Am i missing something here?
 
I'm confused that his 1st pic shows a board 10 x 10 squares on the back ground and the last pic shows 8 x 16 squares?
 
Hmm didn’t see that. Quite interesting. I think that he will have to clear this up.

lol, I had a feeling that would confuse folks after I posted it.
it’s all due to perspective. The blank is sitting on the Fiskar measurement mat (inches). When picturing the surface face it sits almost 4 inches higher than the mat thus distorting the measurement grid, when picturing end and side grain it raises the lens even higher thus seeing more of the underlying grid.
I can recapture photos on a different surface if you’d like.
 
Well, Big Ry showed interest first, but if he passes, let me know. I've never turned anything measured in weird centimeters. :lol2:

Even with perspective in mind it still looks way bigger lol. So is it 6.75x6.75x3.75? Probably best just to confirm the dimensions instead of worrying about photos.
