Not sure. I'm wondering if he was referring to the basic, normal 409. But I've also been thinking since then that, if the idea is to neutralize the acids, mixing baking soda with water could also do the trick. And would be something I have on hand already, since we try to avoid most cleaners due to the fragrances in them. We have someone in our house who is allergic to synthetic fragrances, so we avoid using anything with them in our home.
