I did not find any mixed colored logs just solid green. Going out again Monday to try again.

I assume dark green since light green would usually be in the center of the log... kinda like black bog oak? What size logs you find this week?

We got a log About 11” diameter and 6’ long and several about 5” diameter about 3’ long. Going back for the big one Monday. It was about 20” diameter and 25’ long.

I have started cutting and I did find some mixed color but not much.

I'm having a hard time estimating the sizes of those pieces off your hand. What are the rough dimensions of the blocks you have in the second photo? And just for splits and giggles, what are the dimensions of the two logs the furthest away on the right of the first photo (that is the piece next to the yellow bucket and the crotch just in front of it)?

Paul @Paul Veerkamp - nice haul and that looks about the specs. requirement we pm’d about and earlier in the post. I like the tight growth rings and it is also nice that is cross cut.
I'd like to ask if you can cut two, 6 plus in for diameter and 4 in thick, for bowls or somewhat bigger sizes too? Also any (Not sure the numbers are right, I always mix these up)up to 16 in diameter and 3 inch thick, for platters, 2? Last any for Vases?

The one in my hand is about 1 5/8 x 1 5/8 x 5”. As for all the stump cuts they are cut down to around 20”

I can cut any size you want but please be aware this is exotic wood and price does reflect that.
Oof, sizeable. Keeping in mind your point about price for such rare pieces, what would your price be for this crotch piece (before shipping)?

If you are wanting a crotch cut for a duck call, 1.5 x 1.5 x 6” the price is $24. I will let you know Osage does not feather like most tree species so do not expect much. Most crotch pieces are full of cracks and sand but I can get you one.
Hmm, so the whole piece would be in the $300-550 range? Got to know...hmmm, I'll need a day or so to factor some things together. Thanks for the continuing info, man.

I do have a piece that is very light green that probably has crotch figure that I would sell for much less.

That piece is about 12” thick 24” long and around 20” wide. Much larger that it appears.
Can you give a quote on two bowls blanks 8 in diameter by 3 thick? Also price on on 2 platters 12 in diameter by 3 in thick?

A piece 11.5 x 11.5 x 5 in a flat rate bag is around $1400.

Oh HO, I'm seeing the photo on a larger screen and I'm getting that now (the sawdust just next to it "lower" on the photo was making me think it was 6/4 or 8/4 in thickness or so). Forget price (minimum $9500 I'm guestimating?), I'm not sure what I'd process that much into!
You mentioned you had a lighter green piece, do you have a photo/details on it available?

I will get you pictures soon. I have to cut it first. There is also the option for a stick bowl if you are interested. I do sell the pieces that will cut almost 2” square with the pith in them. 6 pieces to make a 12” stick bowl for $60 plus shipping.

Not near that price but not 2-300 either. Lol. Big pieces are hard to judge because of all the waste to get the best cuts. Sometimes it is hard to get big clean pieces even from stumps this size.
