Over the last few months I have made quite a few boxes. I would like to post some of my work and get some feed back on them. Please criticize them. If this is ok for this forum; please let me know. Thanks.

Here is one of my favorite boxes. I was looking for some wood in the shop and I saw an odd block of Maple. I tossed it on the table saw and cut a slice off both sides and ends. I added a quilted Maple top panel and a tiger striped bottom panel. I wanted it to stand up off the table so I spent a huge amount of time trying to get the legs just right. At one point after the glue up the wood moved and it went out of square but a bit of sanding and all was good. The hinges are from brusso. I then did a french polish on it.

Thanks, I would have posted a couple more photos but I am still learning how to post photos.
As far as figured wood; I have a lot. Most of it is Maple. Some I had milled, some was given to me from a friend and recently I went to pick up a couple of bark side quilted maple pieces and ended up with my truck bed full to the top of quilted maple, spalted maple, and some pacific yew.
