So I have been lurking on this site for a few months and finally realized that I need to introduce myself.

Like most of you, I suspect , I have more wood than my wife has shoes ( and believe me, that girl has got some shoes !), but what the heck...lets buy and trade for some more. 600 species and counting...No small samples here that fit into a folder like baseball cards......all real sized, usable pieces in that collection.

I used to buy a lot of wood on Ebay but many have stopped selling there due to never ending fee increases. I have mad a lot of friends and acquaintances through wood turning and wood addiction over the past few years and I hope that continues on this site....now lets buy some wood !

Welcome to WB Greg ! I don't think you will be disappointed in the wood u find here, unless not paying fees bothers you :sarcastic: . Sounds like you have quite the stash already
 
No wood hoarders here although I do have 1000000000 baseball cards. Lol

Hi Greg! No mandatory fees here we encourage sellers to occasional consider donations equal to a small portion of their profits but unfortunately that rarely happens, so we have auctions a time or two a year and so far, knock-on-figured-wood, it has worked well and is a ton of fun.

Since you're a lurker you know there is one thing that IS mandatory . . . . :nodice:

Welcome Greg . We are all suffering from this affliction here. This is not a recovery program but one that allows you to enjoy your desire. Your wife and wallet may disagree but your heart will lead you down the path where wood chips, saw dust and ribbons of wooden lust flow freely.:drinks:
