coming to vegas?

30" plus logs in my inventory
Crazy enough I have a really good friend who is going to be in Vegas at the brewery convention staying at the venetian starting Saturday the 20th thru the 23rd and is willing to bring me back a piece of Mesquite. Keeping in mind that he will need carry it on the plane or check it in a bag, could you send me a picture of what piece you would recommend? I'm hoping to turn a gnarly bowl maybe 12" to 18" in diameter, height can be whatever.

I collect & use Texas woods---but prefer Mesquite.

I got left out? Guess I need to sell or post some more….
I’m in Texas.
How big a blank do you need?
It’s the shipping that hurts— a good figure used to be about $1 a pound, not sure what it is now..

he has opted against mine since there is no real easy way to check a 100 plus pound chunk of wood as checked baggage
