Hi, I got some logs last year and for got what it is could somebody help. This is cherry or maple but I don't know which. The light streak across the wood iswhere I removed some bark so it would set leveler so I coul cut it round. Thanks

Of the two, the bark looks more like cherry. Just a guess though.
