Can’t say anything bad about Buddy and he is one of the last blues journeymen left. But, this guy was one of Buddy Guy’s main influence:

Did anyone listen to WLAC, Nashville, s I did as a teen in the 60’s? I remember The DJ, John R. I was amazed that 40+ years later to learn that he was white. I got hooked on Blues the first time I heard that station.

Got to hear the inimitable Bo Diddley as he toured with Paul Revere and the Raiders, and the Byrds, in our town back in the Fall of '65.

Best I ever heard was Bill Wax on Sirius. Amazing knowledge.

And now it is Talk Radio! With some Vahhnnderbuilt sports on weekends.
