I had some time finally to get in shop and make something. I decided to make a handle for my xacto knife. I used one of my segmented blanks I made a while ago. Came out good. But upon trying to take it off the mandrel I found out it was glued to the bushings.
I tried to get em apart as gently as I could but...it cracked off each end.
I was almost ready to toss it in the bin. But I remembered the Rick Astley song, never gonna give you up.
So, I went to cutting it off with my old xacto. And glued it back together.
And here's the result....
