Hello everyone, Just joining. Looking for some exotic wood from time to time. I'm from NC and have been woodworking off and on for most of my life. Currently doing a lot of turning.

Thank you, I appreciate all of the comments and Hellos. I will post some pictures of a few of the projects I have done. I am currently looking for some Purple Heart that is 12/4 and at least 7" wide and 36" inches long. Can be larger but at least this size.

Here are a few of my projects.
The Chess Board made with Olive wood, Mesquite and Walnut frame. These are the first Chess pieces I've made.

The Mag, Glass is like a lot of the pens and other small kit items I make.

The other Chess board and table are made from Currly Cherry (frame) Paduk and Curly Maple. The base, not shown is made from live edge Cherry with a Paduk center column.

The Walnut table is a book matched table with purple heart in the middle with purple heart trim under the walnut. The ends are book matched cherry. The legs are walnut.
