I'm going to upload some new xenforo smilies today and perhaps some of the most popular older ones. Also, I have installed an add-on that is supposed to limit the number of smilies we can use to 5 per post. But I noticed some members are still able to post more - maybe they are editing their posts and can get around the limiter that way - not sure.

Please limit your use of smilies to something reasonable. 1 or 2 or 3 of the same laughing smiley is just as effective as 10 or 20, and I believe more so. This will help with our bandwidth over the coming years. They add up believe me! Enjoy. ;)

I think I have used more- but you probably already know- I did nothing special to do it- o_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O

Haha no Mike no problem a few smilies here or there will not matter. Just looking at the big picture. I can only post 3! :confused::confused:If Ipost more here's what I see:

I said 5 but I actually have it set to 3. That's probably not enough. So I wonder if I am the only one being limited to 3 smilies lmao. Serves me right. :D

Hmm...any more than 7 it tells me only 3 may be posted. weird.
 
Well it is nice that I get to post more then you!!!!!! :D Obviously there is a glitch but it is acceptable to Rip and I. Where is that damn hide behind the coach smiley when I need it the most!!!!!!!!!!

Okay guys I have been overridden by Scott. He said the new ones suck and to upload a couple dozen of the most popular old ones so y'all can thank him. :i_dunno: That will turn into a smiley later :sarcastic: So will that. :biggrin: and that . . . . .

It's coming soon as I find the folders on my computer that contain the smilies. The old site was deleted so I have to find them. Hope I saved them. If not I will have to :hide: :chase:

Actually we don't want to use off site smilies. I am working on it now downloading them one by one as I find them. I have to recode nearly every dang one of them, manually, letter by letter. Then upload them to the site. But let's not use off site smilies.

Do we get to vote on which ones come back? We definitely need the :wacko: ones and the ones banging against a wall. Also, do smileys in our signatures count against the post limit?

Voting on what smilies out of a few hundred to bring back is not gonna happen lol. I have been doing this non stop for the past few hours and looks like another 3 hours or more before I get done. I tried to stop at a couple dozen but I think I have about a hundred so far. Most new ones.

I'd have stopped at three, maybe five at the most.

What?!?! A hundred smilies? WOW! You might have to make the limit on smilies per post up to 10 so we can use them all!:D
