Glad to have found this area. I've already seen some names/faces that I'm familiar with from other sources. Looks like a great place to exchange ideas; find things that are wanted, and such.

I'm recently retired (12/31/15) and over the past 2 years have bought a place in E. Texas (Mount Vernon - home to Dandy Don Meridith), and have been building out my shop. Almost done, and trying to get back to actually make some sawdust and wood shavings. Interests are woodturning, woodworking and fishing! I live on Lake Cypress Springs, just across from the water.

Looking forward to being a productive member. I'm also a member of the Hunt County (Greenville, TX) Woodturners.

Now that I finally understand and have executed the Texas Two Step (successfully once again), I seem to be able to reply and answer. Took a bit. Like I'm sure many others, if I would have read the terms and conditions, etc - I would have been further along!

Glad to be here. Will be posting up and active shortly.

Another California welcome! Isn't retirement wonderful? Just make sure to keep your own schedule -- too easy to allow others to dictate all of your free time! Would love to see your shop. Chuck
