Hello folks,

Looking forward to learn and see some of the wood you guys are posting here.

I am always in the lookout to buy 1.5"x1.5"x13 up to 36" or something similar that I might be be able to cut down in turning squares.

I am a somewhat newbie cuemaker and I am trying to become a good wood hoarder :wacko1:

Welcome Tony, Nice folks and wood here. Beautiful cues. Nice work and use of the wood. Please check your pic sizes they are just a little too big. I think under 1000x600 is what the software likes......

Welcome from West Central Wisconsin. Those Cue pics that you posted are absolutely beautiful. If you are new at it I can't wait to see what you can do when you get really good at it.

Have you ever heard of Schmelke Cue? They are a small cue maker North of me in Ricelake WI. I buy some of my turning stock for my game calls from them. Great people to deal with. They sell other cue building supplies as well.

I know Dave up there.
I like those guys a lot but I have other suppliers that get me some good crazy stuff.

I feel really humbled by your comments guys. There are other cuemakers that I look up to that use also crazy and insane woods on their cues as well.
It's mind boggling to me also when I see you guys making a bowl, cups and all sorts of other crazy stuff.

Welcome! Beautiful work and an endorsement from the king of black ash burl... Not too shabby!:good2:

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work and learning a bit about the process of cue making. Heck, I might even have a scrap or two of something you could make a cue out of.
