Olive Wood Root burl

Jerry Marcantel, the Arizona Coon Ass, sent me this olive Wood root Burl about a year ago. It’s taken be the long to get to this point. By far the most challenging piece I’ve ever done. Mostly due to the amount of silicone embedded, I wound up having to finish it with carbide tools, and they did not last long. But it turned out pretty nice after all.
