Lots more to that seaplane model than first appearances. Fun build to follow.
With the foot pedal, do you still shut the machine off when you are not using it or rely on the pedal control?
I leave my saw on all the time. The pedal has become the on/off switch for me. This works because I am the only one in the shop but if there were others that accessed my work area, I would have the power switch off on the saw unless I was actively using it just to prevent folks from accidentally turning the saw on by pressing the pedal. Other than that, I would say just leave the switch in the "on" position. With the foot pedal, do you still shut the machine off when you are not using it or rely on the pedal control?
I would really like to know how little Ellie decided that when you die she's selling your tools and taking over your shop.
