Osage orange question

Just bought a large live edge slab of osage orange
I'm planning on cutting some of it in 1x4x4 blanks for Pot Calls
And some 1.5x1.5x6 or 8. For trumpets
What other sizes would be good?

If you have proper thickness (I can't remember what it is at the moment), there are usually a couple people per season looking for osage mallet blanks.

If a big enough portion of the slab is close to quarter, 9”x22”x1/8th and 4”x31”x1/8th, I’d say guitar back and side sets. In fact, I’d be very interested in trading or buying some sets. Would you be comfortable sharing where you obtained the slab? Thanks
