Woodcraft had some Gaboon on clearance, so I purchased a few 2x2x24 spindle blanks. In the latest order, one of the blanks came with a label that had a different SKU than on the receipt. The label is slightly damaged, but it seems to clearly say "Oyono05". What on earth does that mean? Is Oyono some kind of obscure common name for a dark colored wood? Even if this blank is truly Gaboon that was simply mislabeled, I'm still very curious as to what Oyono might be. Google is coming up empty on that name.

To me, that O looks more like a Q. So, I used an O as the first letter and it took me to a list of Oyono's. First was the name of a Soccor player. Next was a sleep med with that spelling.

Next thing I did was replace the O with a Q. It came up with YONO SBI app . It has to do with purchases I suppose.

The markings below are probably just verifying that the app used for the transaction. I could be wrong. ........... Nubs

Im not seeing the connection between that app and this wood. But more importantly, this isn't woodcrafts typical convention for labeling, including for 2x2x24 sticks of gaboon. They always put the common name on the label.
