I'm posting this to make it legal here. last week I posted a thread of a Palo Verde Table I'm building for a friend. Palo Verde is Arizona's state tree. The tree was on the property well before someone built their house on it. Well, after 20-30 years, they decided it was a nuisance. A friend heard about it, and asked if I could help him recover the tree, so I helped and got more than half of the root base.
I milled it with my chainsaw, let it sit under roof for over 5 years, and decided I would make a table. I posted it in the thread Palo Verde Table. It's gonna be a start to finish thread with a lot of pictures. After I cut a lot of the wood away, I had a lot of scrap, but it was too good looking, plus the sizes were just right for some projects WB'ers are know to pursue.
When I posted the pictures, @Pops asked if any was for sale, so he and I finally agreed on a sale. Here it is. Those wedges seen with the X's on didn't get sent as they are only 3x16" thick tapering to 0"
It went in the mail yesterday. I use Pirate Ship, and have extreme difficulties trying to print the labels. Yesterday, a window popped up and said, "Arrrgggg, use your phone and take a picture of the QR code" and indicated for me to get my butte over to the post office, show them the code, and get the box shipped. man, that was easy. It took them about a minute to scan the code, put it on the box, and I was on my way back home.
In case anyone is wondering, a large flat rate box is 864 cubic inches. The box I used was a 8.5x8.5x12 which is 867cubic inches. That's just over the size of a LFR box, and the price was only $11.03. I'm sorry @Pops for rounding up instead of rounding down. Any way, the box is on the way. Let me know when you get it. I'll also be tracking it. ........... Nubs
