Box #18 is a USPS medium flat rate box.

Eighteenth box has a roughly 9" x 9" x 2.25" thick turning blank of Tzalem (182 cubic inches), also known as Caribbean walnut. This blank has small checks and should yield a clean 8 x 8 x 2. The box has a 2.5" x 2.5" by 12.25" long piece of spalted White ash. There is a piece of wormy curly red maple 2.25" x 2.25" x 9" long. These woods are pictured. If you need more information, ask. There will be other wood packed with these to assure the box is filled to capacity. These items will be great for turning projects.

That spalted ash was out of my neighbors yard and the maple off the family property. They were on the front porch and fit Paul's blank well. Please post what you make with them. Nice to see things go from stump to finished product.

Box #15 is a USPS medium flat rate box.

Fifteenth box has Live oak, Blue mahoe, Sugar maple, Red maple, White oak and European beech. Many of these woods have figure and are pictured. If you need more information, ask. There will be other wood packed with these to assure the box is filled to capacity. Many of these items will be great for jewelry, stoppers, pens and finials.

Sounds good Ben, I'll box it up and ship soon. Was at Paul's yesterday and came home with another 4 or 5 boxes of small pieces of wood that were in the house. With single digits lurking, I decided to hold off on his wood shed another week or two.

Box 9 finally arrived yesterday. The snow pretty much locked down my entire town for a whole week, and that box spent a lot of time waiting in various USPS facilities, but it is here now. I haven't had a chance to open it yet, but once I can do that, I'll get your payment sent. Thanks again!

Oh, wish it was 3 months ago. I drive bus, it is still everyday. Hear it in English and Spanish.

Wife and I went to Paul's on the 24th in single digit weather and picked up more wood from an outdoor shed. Been displacing snow since then and finally getting back to schedule. Boxed up 7 new boxes. Just need to find time to get pictures and post.

Box #19 is a USPS medium flat rate box.

Nineteenth box has a roughly 8.25" x 8.25" x 2.4" thick turning blank of maple with spalt. This blank has very few if any defects. There is a 7.5" x 7.5" by 1.8" thick piece of nice Black Walnut. There is a piece of Live oak 2.8" wide x 2.1" thick x 6.75" long. This piece has small checks.. A piece of weathered beech. Spanish cedar 6" x 9.25" x 11/16ths. A 10" x 3/4ths heavy, curly maple blank along with some Yew pen blank stock. These woods are pictured. If you need more information, ask. There will be other wood packed with these to assure the box is filled to capacity. These items will be great for turning projects as well as others.

Box #20 is a USPS medium flat rate box.

Twentieth box has a piece of Catalpa 5" x 10.6" x 1.8" thick blank with minimal wane. This blank is flatsawn. There is a 4.5" x 10.25" x 2.2" thick piece of Heart pine (SYP), rift cut. There is a piece of Leopard wood 1.5" x 10" long. A piece of beech roughly 1.5" x 2 x 10. Prima vera 2.5" square x 10.75" longs. These woods are pictured. If you need more information, ask. There is some Yew pen blank stock along with spalted hackberry and other wood packed with these to assure the box is filled to capacity. These items will be great for turning projects as well as others.

Twenty first box has a piece of Catalpa 4.9" x 10.2" x 1.5" thick blank flatsawn. There is a 5" wide x 8" long x 2.8" thick piece of Western red cedar cut over pith. There is a piece of Osage orange 4.5" x 7" long x 2.1 thick. A piece of Persimmon 5.25" x 5.25 x 2 thick. This piece is cupped and has end checking. Hop-hornbeam 4.5" x 4 x 1.25" thick has a heavy check but good for 2 stoppers. These woods are pictured. If you need more information, ask. There is some pen blank stock along with other wood packed to assure the box is filled to capacity. These items will be great for turning projects as well as others.

Twenty second box has a piece of Tulip poplar 4.99" x 10.5" x 7/16ths" thick rift cut. There is a 3.8" wide x 8.25" long x 1" thick piece of Osage orange cut over pith with heavy check. There is a piece of Persimmon 2" x 10.5" long x 1.1 thick. A piece of Leopard wood 1.75" square x 7.25 long. Zebrawood 7" x 8.75 x 2.1" thick has a face check that should turn out. Red canary wood, 2.25" square x 8.75" long. Virola 6.25" x 9.75" x 2.2" thick. These woods are pictured. If you need more information, ask. There is some other wood packed to assure the box is filled to capacity. These items will be great for turning projects as well as others.

Twenty third box has a piece of Sipo 9" x 9" x 2.5" thick flatsawn blank with a check on a corner that should turn out. There is a 2.25" square x 8.3" long piece of Mesquite with a 1.5" worm groove. There is a piece of Wenge 10" x 10" x .875 thick. A piece that has the names Partridge wood and Panga Panga wood on it that is 3.9" x 9.75 long x 1.8 thick. A thin of spalted Hackberry 2.75" x 10.25 x .5" thick. These woods are pictured. If you need more information, ask. There is some other wood packed to assure the box is filled to capacity. Twenty fourth box has a piece of Zebrawood 8" x 8" x 2" thick nearly quarter sawn. There is a piece of Black ash 5.6" x 10" x 1.7 thick. A check looks to be 2 inches deep on one end. A deep red piece of Padauk that is 8.75" wide x 6.6" long x 1.5" thick. This piece has 3 or 4 small checks. A 1.75" square x 8.8" Leopard wood blank. A 1.75" square x 10" Leopard wood blank. These woods are pictured. If you need more information, ask. There is some pen blanks and other wood packed to assure the box is filled to capacity.
