Hey Ryan,

The 12/27 photo were thins. 1/4"-3/8" rips from sample blanks. I basically packed all I had and shipped to Chuck.

I hope to get back to cleaning the porch soon and offer more Pen Blanks and other Stuff as like that the thread started with. I got some Needlewood, Brazilian brown ebony and Pistachio to start the next box or envelope.

No worries. Although I do like thins, I can use a lot of different small sizes for my small projects. I was more referring to the wood grain and color when referencing the 12/27 photos.

I love the look of Pistachio. It is one I intended to source for an upcoming project. Needlewood sounds great as well. If by Brazilian Brown Ebony, you mean Swartzia Stipulifera...I'd definitively take it, but you should give it to someone else first if they are interested. I just bought 5 BF of Swartzia Stipulifera (Gombeira) from West Penn, so I got plenty of it.

That sounds like a great box for my collection! While I have some Youpon holly logs, there are no burls I can see.
And, if you want any straight grain DY, I can try my best to generate a sample or two from the logs. Anything else I can try to wrestle up for you?

I apologize for being slow in replying. I have no clue where to start. I have quite a few samples, and many of the more common woods are in that count. I have not yet been in the Plano area or any of Texas. I lack many Texas woods.

Have any Cordia boissieri, 'Ancahuita'? Ehretia anacua, "Anacua" Fraxinus texensis, 'Texan Mt. ash' Morella cerifera 'Wax myrtle' Viburnum rufidulum, 'Rusty blackhaw' Condalia hookeri, 'Bluewood' Ungnadia speciosa, 'Mexican buckeye' Aesculus pavia var. pavia, Red buckeye, Frangula caroliniana, 'Carolina buckthorn' Cephalanthus occidentalis, 'Buttonbush', Juniperus ashei, 'Ashe juniper' Cupressus arizonica, 'Arizona cypress' Ulmus crassifolia, 'Cedar elm'

There are a few I lack or would like another sample of. Have any of them?

Here some turning stock. A block 7" x 11" x 1.875 thick, think it is Prima-vera. A 1" x 1" x 11" curly Red maple with worm holes, 1.25" x 1.25" x 11" Red maple with some curl and worm holes. 1" x 1" x 4.5" English yew, 1" x 1" x 5.75" English yew, 6.5" x 11" x 2.75" thick Limba that has some checks and a big bug hole in the back. Last piece is nice piece of curly red Maple with worm holes. Maple likely all from the same tree from the family property.

Asking a minimum $25 shipped USPS medium flat rate.

Here is an envelope worth of wood. Honduran rosewood, bloodwood, a pistachio, not sure species, bloodwood, 1/4 sawn macadamia, needlewood, flat sawn macadamia. Think the bottom 3 will work for samples if need be.

Thought they were all labeled. Pretty sure both red woods are Brosimum likely rubescens.

The two heavy red ones aren't labeled but the rest are. I was going off your post above where list them all and say "not sure of species" for one. I assumed that was one of the red ones. Though you did also list blood wood twice, but i figured that was an error. So both are bloodwood then?

Yes, 2 are out of my Bloodwood box. There was a piece of Pistacia, not sure which species it is. Guessing either 'vera' or 'chinensis'.

A USPS medium flat rate box with lots of Sapele stopper blanks. Got a 5.25" x 5.25" x 2" pot blank, many 1.7" square x 4", many 1.5" square by 4", many 1.5" square x 2.5". I'll fill the box voids with some other woods.

Check in pot blank at 5.4". The blank is basically 5.75" x 6". Betting a clean 5.25 in there.
