Pickup Truck wrecked

Plug in under dash?
Yes and no. Yes you plug it in there, but you reprogram it, then disconnect it. I keep it in my center console just in case I have to have anything done to the engine.
I'll check after work to see the name brand.

@JD1137 Glad to hear you are healing up! What a harrowing experience. So glad it wasn’t worse. I hope it won’t be too long before you can get back to woodworking. Will pray for continued recovery.

I’m still driving my old Toyota truck - very basic, no airbags. Your situation is certainly going to make me be more careful, even though these things can happen out of one’s control.

basic old trucks have advantages- simple-easy to work on. I look under either of our hoods and it is " what the ...." but on long trips- the ride- heated steering wheel-seats, no road noise temp control. all make driving easier. In 2006 Kathie got a Lexus hybrid. auto wipers. Me-what the hell do you need auto wipers for. Traveled to Mt. and on Lookout pass- barrier in middle of freeway. semi coming otherway, slush, semi buried me in slush- no vision at 60- for a second-the wipers slept it off. NEVER is it turned off... sometimes old dogs can learn new tricks-sometimes slowly- sometimes instantly..
