Hello folks...during my trips (outside my country) I always leave a space for some tools (powered or not)...the pliers are to me an idea so smart I use they many times a week for many necessity.

I love Knipex brand.. they are not cheap but worth the money (in my personal opinion).In Brazil can cost 6 or 7 more than US or Europe.

I am fortunate enough to have an original Vise Grip (a piece of American tools history).

I forgot about this with large jaws...now I know the name...vocabulary is so big in English and I have been studying English since 1979 and still learning something new every day.

Of course we can use another brands and have the same results...I have a Craftsman water pump plier since 1998 and still pretty good...different mechanism but do the job...nobody needs Knipex...you just have a premium tool from Knipex but not a must to have tool...but not a tool to lend either (your friend can love the tool and "forget" to bring back)

I never saw Knipex at hardware stores in US...normaly I rent a house from Airbnb and ask the owner or manager if I can order in advance for that home and pick it when I am there...they always accept.

He always make nice tests and helps a lot

Hello folks Knipex issue back because this video.

You can see I already talked about small scale job.

I loved this plier (picture below) but the price in Canadian Dollars was too much (for a plier) being Knipex or Rolls Royce ...but it is so gracious (and no question utility).


This store Canadian Tire has many models at shelf.

I have a craftsman (Sears) vice grip story. My best friend lived across street from Sears. I probably 13 , on bike and saw something shiny in asphalt. A Craftsman set of vise grips- life time warranty, embedded in asphalt, we dug out with hammer and screwdriver. Took it to Sears. Guy said , yes it looks broken and gave us brand new visegrip. Great tools in 50s-70s.
