Private message quota

Haven't had a problem, but I have a question. I noticed a percentage notification. For me, it is something less than 10% now. What happens when it hits 100%?

You can download them to your own computer in three different formats and there's quite a few other options. Probably easier to show you.

i cant recevie or send any pms i cleared out both and the percentage did not reduce just says warning im at 100 percent. not quite sure what yo do :dunno::dunno::dunno: duckman

Dave you nee to empty or move folders- I have had the same problem. I am not the best a describing it but if you do not figure it out post here again and I will help. If you go to the message page on the line above messages you have compose message and some other choices- go to empty messages and You will find your problem. M

This got me to wondering how long it's been since I lived somewhere that had a curb in front (or anywhere near) and I have to go all the way back to 1985 when I got out of the USCG.

I guess that old game of making up "You might be a redneck if . . . " needs one more added.

I am not the best at describing this but on the same line as compose you have some options go there and delete sent and deleted and all others you want to get rid of- do not feel bad everyone has been right where you are. If you cannot figure out and either I or some one else will describe better.

... You have delete them twice once from in,sent,etc and then from your trash can. :dash2:

That's an intentional safety measure so you don't delete something very important and end up banging your head against the wall in frustration. :dash2:

hi

We have a setting that after 5 days and x posts then users can use the PMs and email functions of the forum. I realise that this may be an annoyance to you, but it is a way of protecting our users.

If you want to make a trade then you can reply on an existing thread as far as I am aware, or give it a couple of days until you get the "promotion".

No problems.

I see you do pool cues - There is a nice site - Classified Billiards - he allows you to post a listing for your business there if you are interested.

A link back to wood barter would not hurt if you do post there, maybe we could get some more pool cue builders over here to do some barter with.

I can't find the right switch Tony. I've changed it before but can't find it now. there's two setting one is a minimum posts required before the member can PM and the other is a certain amount of time that needs to pass before a member can post. Both must be met.

It used to be 5 days but I didn't like that so I changed it to just 5 posts and zero days. But Our new webmaster has been cleaning things up and set that minimum day thingy. NOT her fault because she asked me about it and I forgot to reply to her. So I did post to her and when she logs on next she'll get that fixed up for ya.

Just wanted you to know why it has taken this long it's definitely my fault not hers. Wish I could find that elusive setting again. Grrr. Thanks for your patience.
