Such a pretty day! It’s 76 here.
Thought I’d contribute to my Northern friends’ Cabin Fever.
I’ve got some “must do’s” in addition to that Live Oak bowl, so while the current coat is drying, thought I’d pull out a couple of slabs. 2 bigger bowls for a benefit, and others just to restock.
I marked where the bowl blanks were and then cut pieces with the electric chain saw. There’ll be 8 total once goes to band saw.
2 :15-16 inch bowls, 13 inch lazy susan. 5 other bowls, and prolly a peppermill or two.

Was able to get to the bandsaw after I finished my “afternoon off’ chores.
Here’ what those slabs changed into & I di start working on one, getting the outside shaped with a roughing gouge.
